Zero Emissions
Ford electric vehicles produce zero emissions whilst driving. This contributes to a cleaner environment meaning there are fewer pollutants in our atmosphere. With a Ford EV, you may also be exempt from certain congestion charges.
Electric Driving Range
Travel many miles without charging as all Ford electric cars deliver a long-lasting electric range. This range can easily be recovered by plugging in your car to charge at a time and place that suits you. Read more about charging below.
Low Operating Costs
Ford electric vehicles have fewer moving parts than internal combustion engines, so they require less maintenance. Without components like spark plugs or engine oil, they don’t need the usual servicing associated with petrol and diesel cars.
Ford offers a growing range of electric vehicles to suit different needs. The New All-Electric Ford Puma Gen-E is a compact and practical SUV, bringing zero-emissions driving to one of Ford’s most popular models.
For those who need more space, the All-Electric Ford Explorer and New All-Electric Ford Capri provide a modern take on classic Ford models, delivering impressive range, cutting-edge technology, and bold styling.
If you're looking for a high-performance electric SUV, the Mustang Mach-E offers thrilling acceleration and advanced technology while maintaining the iconic Mustang DNA.
Ford also offers all-electric people carriers like the Ford E-Tourneo Courier and Ford E-Tourneo Custom, perfect for those who need extra space and versatility.
Whether you’re at home or at work, when it comes to charging your electric Ford car, every model has a home and public charging cables to cover every situation.
Charging at Home
When charging at home, use a standard socket or a dedicated wallbox for charging up to five times as fast. Government grants are available to help you with the installation costs, and charging your car at off-peak times can help save money while you sleep.
Charging at a Public Charging Station
Access a vast network of public charge points across the UK, from local service stations and supermarket car parks. Some of these come free of charge but faster charges may require a fee. Check for nearby charge points using the FordPass app.
The Ford BlueOval Charging Network has more than 32,000 charge points across the UK and is part of a network of over 600,000 charge points in and around Europe.
Ford is working to make charging more convenient. With connected services, you can easily plug in your charging cable and handle payment through the FordPass app.
When traveling across Europe, why not consider an IONITY subscription? IONITY is just one of the many options within the BlueOval Charging Network. It allows you to travel through 24 countries with cheaper prices per kWh through your subscription.
What's more, IONITY charging stations come equipped with an average of four charging points, so there's less chance of queuing. Plus, these high-power charging stations use DC chargers with a capacity of up to 350kW, so you can top up quickly.
