The entry-level Limited comes with a two-speed transfer case and the Selec-Terrain management system, along with 18-inch aluminium wheels and automatic LED exterior lights.
Plus, an electronic limited-slip differential, Select-Speed Control, the Quadra-Lift air suspension system with semi-active damping, and a front sway bar disconnect. Plus, tow hooks, ventilated front seats, an off-road camera, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, suede seat inserts, and a gloss-black roof.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE Interior, Exterior and Tech
The interior of the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE has been upgraded to give a more comfortable and modern look. Heating and cooling massage functions are now available on its new adjustable seat design and the dashboard offers a contrast of wood and leather trim, metal trims and LED ambient lighting.
However, it's the technology upgrade that really stands out. The new dashboard layout hosts a pair of 10.1-inch digital display and infotainment screen, and the front passenger also gets a larger 10.25-inch interactive display and rear-view mirror.
This setup runs Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 system, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity plus, TomTom sat nav. It also incorporates a 4G wireless hotspot for up to eight devices and Amazon Alexa integration.
Alongside the interior redesign, Jeep has also overhauled the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE car’s exterior look, with a more sculpted, sportier look, retaining its trademark seven-bar grille layout.

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4XE Efficiency and Performance
Jeep's fifth-generation Grand Cherokee 4XE Plug-in Hybrid is based on an all-new architecture and features a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and a 17.3kWh battery feeds a pair of electric motors. The petrol and electric motors produce a combination of 375bhp allowing a zero-emissions range of 31 miles with power going to all-four wheels via an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
The 4XE powertrain features three different E Selec driving modes: Hybrid, Electric and eSave. Hybrid mode optimises the battery and petrol power to best balance the fuel economy and performance. The Electric mode prioritises EV-only running, with the petrol engine only cutting in when the battery charge is depleted or the driver asks for full acceleration. And eSave will retain battery charge for use at a later point, from the regenerative braking system.
The Jeep safety kit has also improved with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, rear-cross traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
Along with Quadra-lift air suspension which enables the 4XE to wade through water up to 610mm deep, there’s also an easy entry/exit function that reduces the cars’ height to make it easier to climb in and out.
