The Kia EV9 Range
With two 12.3-inch screens, heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control as well as a 360-degree camera are standard features and all come well-equipped.
Starting with the new Kia EV9 Air, there are three trim levels available.
You get 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, roof rails, and flush-fitting door handles along with power-adjustable seats and an eight-speaker audio system.
In the middle is the new Kia EV9 GT-Line trim, which comes with roof rails, a sporty-looking body kit, and distinctive LED headlights. Inside, you'll find black headlining, aluminium pedals, a power-adjustable steering column, and massaging seats.
Finally, the top-of-the-line new Kia EV9 GT-Line S which boasts head-up display, rear sunroof, opening front sunroof, and 21-inch alloy wheels.

The Kia EV9 Interior and Design
There is no doubt that the new Kia EV9 looks unique. It doesn't actually differ that much from the initial concept design back in 2021.
Although it appears boxy from the outside, the blanked-off front lower grille has been engineered to open and close depending on whether the batteries need cooling or not, helping to maintain the vehicle's maximum aerodynamics.
The black cladding around the wheel arches and stylish two-tone alloy wheels, the wraparound LED headlights, and silver trim on the lower bumper also go towards its unique styling.
A four-spoke steering wheel can be found in the EV9 Kia interior. There are a few physical control buttons on the dash and two screens beyond this, but overall the design is quite clean and simple.
If you choose the six-seater version, you will get two captain chairs in the middle row that can be turned, so your passengers can chat easily, and the seat can be swiveled to face the door.

The Kia EV9 Technology
The new Kia EV9 seven seater is capable of level 3 conditional autonomous driving, which helps with the stress on long-distance journeys.
It also comes with 15 sensors around the car, including two cutting-edge LiDAR sensors up front that can map your surroundings. The EV9 can direct you into your lane and maintain a safe space between you and the vehicle in front. With over-the-air upgrades, the driver assistance technology can also be enhanced over time.
Once you have bought your Kia EV9 new car, you can activate features like smart parking assist, which allows you to remotely park the vehicle plus much more all purchased online using the Kia Connect app. The acceleration boost and several daylight running light patterns are further options.
Kia also offers the option of wing mirror cameras, in addition to a camera positioned on the back of the vehicle. Helpful if your full of passengers and luggage and are unable to look out the back window.

The Kia EV9 Performance
In the new Kia EV9, you can choose between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, and there are several power outputs as well. The 204bhp long range rear-wheel-drive variant can reach 0-62mph in 9.4secs. While the 215bhp rear-wheel-drive version accelerates in 8.2secs.
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version has 380bhp, enough to sprint from 0-62mph in 6.0secs. For an even quicker response of 5.3secs, you can purchase a "Boost" feature from the Kia Connect shop, which increases the torque.
If you choose the standard rear-wheel-drive Kia EV9 SUV, you get a 76kWh battery. Whereas all the other models get a 99.6kWh unit. Plus, it's pretty efficient too, with the longest range offering up to 336 miles and coming in at just below 3.0 miles per kWh.
Not only that, the new Kia EV9's 800V electrical system can charge in 15 minutes to restore almost 150 miles of range.
