Inside, the new Mazda2 self-charging hybrid has a spacious, comfortable feel. You’ll find a large 10-inch centre-dash infotainment touchscreen and 'Apple CarPlay'/'Android Auto' smartphone-mirroring as standard. There's also a further TFT information display between the two control gauges.

The new Mazda2 hybrid is pretty nippy and will accelerate from 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds and returns a combined fuel economy of up to 74mpg. The powertrain, pairs a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine with a single electric motor for a total system output of 114bhp.
