The 2.0-litre petrol in the entry-level Centre-Line trim offers the best value for money, but the diesels are well worth a look at for above average mileage.
Additionally, the Mazda has an engine stop/start button that further aids in fuel efficiency. Mazda's i-ELOOP technology, used in Sport models, captures kinetic energy from the moving vehicle and reuses it for in-car electricity, improving overall fuel efficiency.
