New Mazda MX-30 Design
The new Mazda MX-30 electric range pulls its roots from the KODO philosophy: Soul of Motion, which breathes life and creativity into each new Mazda model; it forms sleek curvatures which make the Mazda models stand out.
The new Mazda MX-30 interior is no different. As the first Mazda electric SUV, the design involves a large amount of space and an encompassing interior that is both welcoming and soft, yet sturdy and practical. Mazda presents its emblem proudly on the front grille and has fabulous rear-hinged ‘freestyle’ doors.
The new Mazda looks a little like a coupe but gives the flexibility, openness and space of an SUV. The innovative design makes it easy to get into the backseat, as it frees up space without the central pillar. There is ample room in the back with the heightened sofa-style seats.
The new Mazda MX-30 boot space has a capacity of 341-litres, expanding to 1146-litres with the seats folded down. The rear seats have a 60/40 split and are easy to adjust.
Mazda MX-30 Safety
The Mazda MX-30 has a host of family-oriented in-built safety features. The rear-hinged doors act as safety for growing children, as the front passengers are in charge of when the rears are open or not. There are also 3-point ELR seat belts, seven airbags (front, front-side, rear, and driver’s knee) and (ISOFIX) child-seat anchorage points on the outer rear seats.
Despite the ‘freestyle’ hinged doors, and the absence of a B-pillar, the new Mazda MX-30 is fully protected from side impacts. The B-pillar is, in fact, integrated into the door structure, and has a steel-strengthened core with shock-absorbing mechanisms.
As well as physical protective measures, the new Mazda MX-30 for sale also includes ADAS features, which assist the driver during his or her journey. This includes a window-project head-up display with traffic sign-recognition software.
To ensure you keep your eyes on the road, there is also a driver attention alert system, which will intuitively monitor for abnormal driver movements and suggest a break when it senses a change from the norm.
