New MG4 EV Models
Four trim levels are available, from the standard new MG4 EV SE, to the new MG4 EV SE Long Range, Trophy Long Range and the new MG4 EV Trophy Extended Range.
Among the included equipment is a 10.25-inch colour touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, iSMART app giving you complete connectivity at your fingertips, and the MG Pilot suite of driving assistance technologies.
If you choose the Trophy Long Range, you will also get a 360-degree parking camera, satellite navigation, heated steering wheel and front seats, plus a Bluetooth key for your phone. You will also get a wireless charging pad, which is conveniently situated on the floating console and adds to the distinctive, contemporary interior design.

From the outside the MG4 EV new car looks relatively different to other MG models with a pointy front end, slim looking LED headlights and a chunky rear bumper design. The new MG4 interior is surprisingly spacious and super modern. A large central touchscreen is prominently displayed on top of the dashboard, and a floating-style centre console has a rotary drive mode selection and an electronic parking brake. New MG4 EV Efficiency and Performance
The new MG4 range is available with a rear-wheel-drive configuration with a single motor, and there are several battery sizes available.
According to WLTP certification, the electric MG4 equipped with a 51kWh underfloor battery has a range of up to 217 miles on a single charge. However, a model with a higher range and 64kWh will go up to 280 miles before needing to be plugged in. 0-62mph can be reached in under eight seconds thanks to a single electric engine that produces 167bhp in the standard model and 201bhp in the 64kWh model. Where as the new MG4 EV Trophy Extended Range has an impressive estimated range of 452 miles.
Thanks to its modular MSP system which can host battery packs, MG has confirmed that the MSP platform could host all-wheel-drive electric powertrains and a further development with a dual-motor system in the pipeline. So watch this space!
