New Vauxhall Astra HYBRID-e Design
From the inside-out, the new Vauxhall Astra HYBRID-e is impressive and thought-out. At its heart - a high-voltage 12.4kW battery; it's lightweight but energy-dense, driving the electric motor in its core. On the outside, it looks equally rejuvenated.
The all-new Vauxhall Astra HYBRID-e design has an eye-catching front grille, with the Vauxhall Vizor at the forefront. It exemplifies modern innovation; with no need for a traditional grille, the new sweeping aspect incorporates the lighting cluster and front setup all into one.
Inside the Vauxhall Astra, it has a spacious and comfortable cabin. With ergonomic active seats and heating features in three zones. Not only this, its panoramic sunroof can be vented or fully opened to flood the space with light.
The new Astra boot will fit a practical 305-litres, making the space more accessible, this can increase to 1122 litres with the back seats folded flat.
New Vauxhall Astra HYBRID-e Safety
The Vauxhall Astra Plug-in Hybrid has a whole host of advanced driver safety features. As well as having keyless entry and start, the new Vauxhall Astra HYBRID-e features an E-HUD (Extended Head-Up Display) to improve your concentration on the road.
There is also Adaptive Cruise Control with intelligent speed assist, this will let you know when there is a change to the legal speed limit and allow you to continue with that speed in mind.
Furthermore, it has Intelli-Drive, a Vauxhall system that combines Lane Positioning Assist (LPA) and Lane Change Assist to monitor your blind spot.
Add to this Intelli-Vision, and make parking up just a breeze. The new Astra HYBRID-e PHEV features four surrounding cameras, which you can use when reversing to fit snuggly into a space.
New Vauxhall Astra HYBRID-e Performance
The new Vauxhall Astra Plug-in Hybrid has a Petrol engine and Vauxhall Astra battery. Together, they can provide up to 180 bhp, with a top speed of 140 mph. The new Vauxhall Astra Hybrid has a Turbo Petrol engine (1.6-litres) and an 81kW Lithium-ion battery.
It has an 8-SPEED semi-automatic transmission, giving you all the control and reassurance you need. It also features regenerative braking; with an iBooster energy-recovering system.
On a fully-charged battery, the new Plug-in Hybrid Vauxhall Astra will have the ability to travel up to 43 miles (WLTP). Offering range, power, efficiency and instant acceleration - the new Astra HYBRID-e Turbo provides everything you could need.
It also has three great driving modes (Electric, Hybrid, and Sport). These can increase fuel efficiency, run with 0 CO2, or maximise performance and torque for a fun-filled ride.
