- You have been the registered owner of the vehicle for a minimum of 6 months
- You must have the vehicle's logbook (V5c)
- There are 2 sets of keys
- The car has not been in a major accident and has never been an insurance write off
- All interior fixings (including the parcel shelf) are included in the car
- The car is not an import and was first registered in the UK (mainland)
- The car has not been used as a taxi or by a driving school
- The SatNav memory or Sim Card must be in the car (where applicable)
How long does it take to sell my car?

Once you have submitted all the visuals for your car, we’ll be in touch to give you a full valuation for your vehicle - if you’re happy with this figure, we can go right ahead and arrange a collection date.
This date can work around your schedule and be made at a time that suits you the best - as long as we have availability at our end, arranging the collection of your car can be organised quite quickly.
How do I get paid when selling my car?
The whole process of selling your car to Stoneacre is a straightforward affair - and getting paid for your vehicle is no different.
On collection day, our dedicated driver will start by ensuring the car is in the condition we expect it to be, and so we can confirm the price agreed beforehand.
From there, it’s a case of finalising the documentation for the car, and our driver concluding the sale.
Once complete, and if collection is made before mid afternoon, you’ll receive your payment via bank transfer on the same day - if collection is later in the day, payment will make its way to you on the following working day.
